Tuesday, March 14, 2006, 7:30pm

The centerpiece of this program is Manuel de Falla’s late Concerto, which culminates in a religious slow movement that Ravel called one of the twentieth century’s great chamber-music compositions. In performing the de Falla concerto, Post-Classical Ensemble explores the sources of de Falla’s inspiration: the worlds of Spanish religious music, and of the harpsichord masters Scarlatti and Soler.
